Ethical and environmental information

We are particularly keen on continually examining our environmental impact and looking for ways to reduce our environmental impact at a strategic level as well as on a day-to-day basis.

Where possible, cycling is a main form of transport. We aim to continue to reduce the amount of paper, ink and printing at the office as we work towards a fully digital office.

The office is often heated by a wood burning stove, with wood sourced from local tree surgeons who thin and remove unwanted urban trees to reduce our carbon footprint.

Ethical concerns form a core part of the business. We donate regularly to charities, including Tree Aid and Survival International. The staff often carry out voluntary work over Christmas period at Crisis Homeless Shelter in London.

As Company Director, Robin Howorth, is a professional member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and the Institute of Chartered Foresters and the company is bound by the ethical and conduct regulations of both professional bodies.

We are also helping with the setting up of a future forests tree planting scheme in Tottenham, North London with time and financial support.
